Senior Insurance officer needed in Solihull

Leading on making sure we are responding to all of the claims in a timely accurate, quality way. Overseeing claims handling function for council. Direct line management for claims handler, making sure meeting targets for making decisions on claims, reporting statistics across council and integrity of the whole of the claims process. Making sure claims system is fit for purpose and is accurately recording claims data

Supporting manager in making sure running insurance program in most efficient way, supporting on annual renewals process, providing info to insurers for renewal of contracts

Someone familiar with main types of insurance policy, public liability, employer liability, property, etc. Understands how these operate, claims, program and renewals process works.

Only having one area of experience is too one dimensional and wont be able to handle the role in the way we need. Need experience with more than one type of insurance
