Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Senior Installation Engineer to lead the installation, refurbishment and commissioning of commercial water treatment systems for swimming pools and leisure projects.

You will support installation across customer sites nationwide, coordinating with teams and ensuring high standards of safety and service. The role requires extensive hands-on experience with pool water treatment equipment, large-diameter piping and technical drawings, plus a full UK driving licence and

Qualifications

• Extensive experience installing commercial swimming pool water treatment equipment and mechanical plant systems.
• Strong knowledge of swimming pool circulation systems, filtration plant, heat exchangers, UV disinfection equipment, chemical dosing systems and water treatment processes.
• Proven experience working with large-diameter pipework, mechanical services installations and technical drawings.
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel nationally and stay away from home during the working week.
• Excellent fault-finding, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a project team.

Responsibilities

• Install, refurbish and support the commissioning of commercial swimming pool water treatment systems across customer sites nationwide.
• Install and replace circulation pumps, filtration systems, pressure filters, heat exchangers, UV disinfection equipment, chemical dosing systems and associated plant equipment.
• Fabricate and install PVC, ABS and stainless-steel pipework systems in accordance with engineering specifications and project requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics and technical documentation to ensure accurate installation and project delivery.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally and in compliance with Health & Safety regulations, whilst providing excellent customer service and site reporting.

We're looking for a Senior Installation Engineer to join our growing projects team, supporting the installation, refurbishment, commissioning support and maintenance of commercial water treatment systems within the swimming pool and leisure industry.

• Install, refurbish and support the commissioning of commercial swimming pool water treatment systems across customer sites nationwide.
• Install and replace circulation pumps, filtration systems, pressure filters, heat exchangers, UV disinfection equipment, chemical dosing systems and associated plant equipment.
