As the Senior Inspector Scientific Officer, you will form part of a dynamic team responsible for carrying out complex and sensitive regulatory and technical activities, while both working in and leading teams of inspectors. Drawing on your extensive expertise, you will play a vital role in improving safety and health outcomes across Western Australian workplaces by delivering specialist advice, undertaking high-level investigations, and building capability across the organisation and industry.
Your strong regulatory, technical and investigative skills, and experience in workplace health and safety within high-risk industries, will be key to your success in this role.
You will bring to the role your advanced expertise in conducting complex inspections and investigations, your ability to coach and mentor less experienced inspectors, and your capability to influence and contribute to legislation, policy development, and sector-wide safety improvements.
