Term: Permanent

Location: We have hybrid working in place, with 1-2 days per week, in our office in Canary Wharf.

What exactly will you be doing?

As a Senior Insights Analyst, you will gather, analyse and interpret data to produce actionable insights that inform AAT's strategic objectives. You will track trends, evaluate risks and opportunities and provide clear, data-driven recommendations to support effective decision-making. Collaborating with internal teams and external research partners, you will develop dashboards, visualisations and reports that bring insights to life and help shape AAT’s future strategies.

Major objectives

Your major objectives will include:

  1. Source and synthesise data from internal and external sources to support strategic priorities.
  2. Analyse complex data sets using statistical techniques and tools, identifying trends and actionable opportunities.
  3. Produce data-driven recommendations, reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate across teams to align insights with organisational goals and priorities.
  5. Develop dashboards and visualisations in Power BI to communicate findings clearly and effectively.
  6. Continuously enhance data analysis processes through innovation and best practices.
What are we looking for?
  1. Proven experience in complex data analysis and using statistical techniques.
  2. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex information for non-technical audiences.
  4. A proactive and flexible mindset, with the ability to manage competing demands and work collaboratively.
  5. Passion for transforming data into actionable insights to inform strategy and drive performance.
  6. Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Excel and familiarity with programming languages like Python or R (desirable).
What are the benefits?

At AAT we believe in treating our staff well and this is reflected in our wide-ranging benefits, which include:

  1. Hybrid working (1-2 days per week in our London office) and opportunities for further flexible working.
  2. 25 days’ annual leave, increasing one day per year up to a maximum of 30 days plus bank holidays.
  3. Great pension scheme, life assurance and critical illness cover.
  4. Health cash plan.
  5. Enhanced maternity and shared parental leave contributions of up to 6 months’ full pay depending on the length of service.
  6. Regular wellbeing initiatives.
  7. Cycle2Work scheme and much more.

Closing Date: The planned closing date for this role is 7 April 2025 at 17.00, however, we reserve the right to close the role earlier than planned.

It’s an exciting time to join AAT and we would love you to join us on our journey. In 2023 we achieved one-star company status in the Best Companies survey and we have recently launched our strategy to 2030.

We are committed to being an inclusive and welcoming place to work. We encourage applications from diverse candidates and make recruitment decisions based on skill and experience. We have a Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) Champions group, which leads on our D&I strategy and organise events to celebrate and raise awareness. We are a disability-confident committed employer and have signed up to the Race at Work Charter.
