Job summary

Xiatech in London is seeking a Senior Insight Analyst to drive data-driven decisions by building analytics pipelines in SQL, using Databricks with Python, and creating dashboards in Tableau or Power BI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• Experience in analytics, data engineering, or a related role.
• Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau for data visualisation.
• Hands-on SQL for data processing and analytics.
• Strong Python skills with data science libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn, and Keras/PyTorch.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualise insights from complex datasets.
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Databricks and SQL/Spark for efficient data processing and analysis.

The Role

As a Senior Insight Analyst , you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decisions and insights through the development and optimisation of analytics solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust analytics pipelines in SQL , leverage your expertise in Databricks using Python , and create impactful visualisations using Tableau or Power BI and other relevant technologies.

Your Knowledge & Experience Must have

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced , dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience in analytics, data engineering, or a related role.
• Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau for data visualisation and dashboard development.
• Hands-on experience with SQL for data processing and analytics.
• Strong programming skills in Python , with experience using data science libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-learn, and Keras/PyTorch .
• Experience with Databricks and Spark for data manipulation and querying.
• Prior experience in the retail industry, with a deep understanding of retail analytics.
• Previous consultancy experience, working directly with clients to deliver analytics solutions and insights.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
