Qualifications

• Approved Clinician status or ability to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
• In good standing with the GMC with respect to warnings and conditions on practice.
• Participation in continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist medical and psychiatric assessment and treatment.
• Lead and manage complex cases with the ward MDT.
• Complete appropriate Mental Health Act assessments and reports.

Skills

Excellent clinical skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Wide range of specialist experience

Ability to work in and lead a team

Education

MBBS or equivalent Medical qualification

Fully Registered with the GMC with a license to practice

On the GMC specialist register
