Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Leeds

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a growing multidisciplinary consultancy in Leeds. This is an ideal role for an experienced engineer who wants to lead projects, work closely with clients and help drive the development of a busy infrastructure team. You will take responsibility for the delivery of highways and drainage design across residential, commercial and industrial schemes, playing a key role in shaping high quality civil engineering solutions.

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will manage projects from concept through to completion, preparing technical designs, reports and detailed drawings. You will represent the consultancy at client meetings, site visits and design reviews, ensuring that every scheme aligns with design standards and statutory requirements. You will also support junior colleagues and contribute to the continued growth of the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of highways, drainage and site infrastructure for development projects.
• Prepare technical outputs using MicroDrainage, Civils 3D, Causeway PDS and AutoCAD.
• Produce S38, S278 and S104 submissions and work with local authorities to gain approvals.
• Deliver SuDS strategies, drainage appraisals and supporting documentation.
• Manage project programmes, attend meetings and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
• Support the development of junior engineers and contribute to team delivery.
