Job summary

Contract Scotland seeks a Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure to join the Toronto operation of a leading Tier 1 contractor. The role sits within a high-performing infrastructure division delivering major transportation and transit projects across Ontario.

You will lead complex project delivery, manage teams, stakeholders and project strategy from planning through execution, ensuring safety, quality and on-time performance. Relocation support is provided for you and your family.

Qualifications

• 15+ years direct construction project management experience.
• Strong infrastructure delivery background.
• Transit/rail sector experience essential.
• Proven success leading large-scale or complex projects.
• Strong commercial, operational and stakeholder management capability.
• Ability to lead, mentor and develop project teams.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution across major infrastructure schemes
• Drive project safety, environmental and quality performance
• Oversee schedules, cost reporting and project controls
• Manage change orders, commercial processes and risk mitigation
• Chair project meetings and lead stakeholder engagement
• Negotiate and manage subcontractor packages
• Drive project planning and delivery strategy
• Monitor productivity, forecasting and financial performance
• Mentor and develop project teams and future leaders
• Resolve disputes and manage complex project challenges
• Maintain strong client, consultant and subcontractor relationships
• Champion a high-performance and safety-first culture
