Qualifications

• Strong Linux engineering skills including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and safe change management.
• Strong Python development skills for production-quality code.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and release automation.
• Experience with automated and manual testing approaches.
• Ability to create practical test plans and rollout procedures for complex changes.
• Experience in large-scale production environments and operational risk awareness.
• Good understanding of security principles, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening.

Responsibilities

• Remediate identified security vulnerabilities across multiple infrastructure codebases.
• Design, implement, and validate secure, stable, and maintainable code changes.
• Integrate vendor, open-source, and internal solutions into the infrastructure platform.
• Develop and maintain automation using Python and related tooling.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, test coverage, and release validation processes.
• Create test plans and validation procedures for security-related changes.
• Test complex changes in lab/pre-production before production rollout.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, security, and application teams to drive remediation to completion.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning.
• Contribute to platform reliability and security posture improvements.
