Job summary

Turner & Townsend is recruiting Senior Estimators with proven experience across Infrastructure (Rail, Airports, Highways, Power, Water or Utilities). Opportunities exist in London, Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester offices.

Estimators may work embedded within client teams or on ad-hoc tasks through the Estimating Hub, with UK-based work and occasional remote tasks. Our work focuses on delivering accurate estimates, cost plans and data to support client decisions, while promoting best practice

Qualifications

• Qualified to high standard in Estimating or QS with proven relevant experience.
• Experience in providing estimating/QS services in large projects.
• Experience with estimating software packages.
• Membership of a relevant professional body with chartered status or working towards.
• Desirable membership of RICS / CIOB / A Cost E.

Responsibilities

• Produce accurate estimates and cost plans in a timely and efficient manner.
• Control and manage the estimating process at project level.
• Produce estimates without supervision.
• Support development and promotion of estimating good practice within Turner & Townsend.
• Assist in achieving departmental objectives.
• Stay abreast of developments in own technical area to advise in line with business objectives.
