Job summary

RSK Land Development and Engineering (LDE) Ltd is seeking a Principal Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Wigan, UK. This full-time, permanent role focuses on leading multi-project infrastructure design, liaising with stakeholders, and delivering compliant schemes to programme and budget.

The candidate will bring experience in highway and drainage design, ground modelling, and technical approvals, with a relevant degree or higher.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of highway design and ground modelling.
• Drainage design and hydraulic modelling, including sustainable drainage systems.
• External works levels design, including Part M.
• Industry Codes of Practice and Health and Safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Manage, lead, and deliver designs for multiple projects on time and to budget.
• Agree engineering strategies and ensure these are adhered to.
• Negotiate technical approval for adoptable works (S104, S38, S278 etc.).
• Ensure designs comply with current Codes of Practice.
