Job summary

Maxwell Bond is partnering with a London MSP to recruit a Cyber Security Engineer. The role is hybrid in London and focuses on securing multi-client environments across network, endpoint, and cloud infrastructure.

The engineer will design and implement security solutions, lead incident response, conduct vulnerability management, and advise clients on best practices and compliance including Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR. A hands-on, client-facing capacity is required.

Qualifications

• Strong firewall experience with Palo Alto or Fortinet.
• Proficient in EDR and endpoint security (Microsoft Defender, Sophos, etc.).
• Solid network security knowledge (VLANs, VPNs, TCP/IP, DNS).
• Experience configuring Azure and/or AWS security.
• Experience in incident response and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

We're supporting a growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) in London in their search for a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join their expanding security function.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role focused on securing multi-client environments across network, endpoint, and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement security solutions (firewalls, EDR, cloud security controls)

• Lead incident response, investigation, and remediation

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and drive risk mitigation

• Manage SIEM and security monitoring tools

• Advise clients on best practices and compliance (Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)

Experience Required:
