Job summary

Halma plc in London seeks an Infrastructure Architect to define and govern infrastructure architecture across M365, Azure, Dynamics 365 and on-premises environments. You will provide architectural direction, standards and assurance, balancing cost, security and resilience while enabling operating companies to adopt best practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in infrastructure, cloud or platform roles at an architectural level.
• Deep experience with Microsoft Azure and M365 in enterprise/global environments.
• Strong knowledge of hybrid infrastructure, on-prem data centres, networking and identity integration.
• Experience supporting Dynamics 365 and Power Platform from infrastructure/security perspective.
• Proven ability to translate complex architecture into clear guidance for engineers and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Act as the design authority for enterprise infrastructure across M365, Azure, Dynamics 365, Power Platform and on‑premises environments.
• Define and maintain infrastructure principles, standards, reference designs and target roadmaps.
• Lead M365 tenant strategy and complex migrations, aligned to security and operating models.
• Define Azure and hybrid architecture patterns aligned to well-architected framework.
• Oversee on‑premises infrastructure architecture, lifecycle management and modernisation.
• Own architecture for business continuity, disaster recovery, backup and resilience.
• Promote IaC and automation-first principles using Terraform, Bicep or ARM.
• Align infrastructure with DevOps and platform engineering to enable CI/CD and faster delivery.
• Define FinOps practices, cost governance and budgeting across Azure and M365.
• Establish cost controls, tagging and accountability across operating companies.
