Lead – Strategic Technology Assurance

We’re looking for a sharp, curious professional to join a team that ensures technology and delivery initiatives deliver real business value. This isn’t a traditional compliance role, it’s about understanding how people, systems, and partnerships drive outcomes, and helping teams make them better.

What you’ll do

• Evaluate technology and business projects to ensure governance, decision-making, and delivery structures support success. Translate strategic goals into measurable outcomes.
• Spot risks in handovers, dependencies, and APIs. Ensure agreements and performance measures are clear, practical, and monitored effectively.
• Review complex systems, platforms, and processes. Assess CI/CD pipelines, platform resilience, access controls, and other critical tech processes to identify improvements.
• Deliver actionable findings to senior leaders. Help shape an assurance function that is forward-looking, flexible, and focused on value rather than compliance.

Who you are

• Curious and strategic, comfortable moving between high-level strategy and technical detail.
• Experienced in technology risk, delivery oversight, or assurance in complex, high-performance environments.
• Confident engaging with engineers, data scientists, and delivery leads to understand systems and processes.
• Skilled at making balanced, commercial judgments, especially in ambiguous situations.
• Familiar with Agile, DevOps, modern delivery practices, API and third-party risk, and performance metrics.
• Able to influence through insight and credibility rather than authority.
• Interested in emerging areas like agentic AI, data analytics, and visualisation.
• Strong academic background, ideally in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related analytical field.
