Job summary

LexisNexis Risk Solutions in London, at London Wall, is seeking a Senior Security Engineer I to manage security, compliance and risk assessments across internal and external stakeholders, including customers and regulators.

You will lead security reviews, coordinate evidence for audits, and help implement frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2, while communicating complex risks clearly to technical and business teams.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in information security, cybersecurity, IT risk or a related technology discipline.
• Strong knowledge of security governance, controls and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, PCI, Cyber Essentials).
• Experience supporting assessments or audits and coordinating evidence.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support customer security reviews, due diligence questionnaires and audits.
• Coordinate evidence collection, assess control effectiveness and track findings to resolution.
• Support security and compliance programmes aligned with ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, PCI and Cyber Essentials.
• Communicate security risks, findings and progress to technical teams and senior leadership.
