A global shipping and logistics company is seeking a professional to develop and manage business information models supporting data-driven initiatives. The role involves collaborating with technical teams, documenting models, and ensuring data accuracy. The ideal candidate has a strong background in information modelling and holds an engineering degree. This position offers a chance to make a significant impact in a dynamic, diverse environment.
APM Terminals designing and implementing business information models that support our organization's data-driven initiatives. Works closely with information / data architects, analysts, and business analysts to understand their data requirements and translate them into conceptual and logical models. Supports software engineers in the implementation of the physical data models. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of our information models, as well as maintaining their documentation and metadata.
APM Terminals (APMT) plays an important role in enabling the global Maersk Ocean and Logistics network as well as serving other Shipping Lines, Beneficial Cargo Owners, Freight Forwarders, intermodal logistics providers and integrating with a wide variety of local port authorities, customs and government bodies across our global network of transshipment, import and export gateway terminals.
In support of the broader Maersk strategy, we are accelerating the transformation of our business from a portfolio of independently operated terminals into a safer, better, bigger global terminals operator.

Implementing, optimizing and scaling Operations Technology will play a pivotal role in achieving our strategic goals, ranging from initiatives like implementing complex brownfield automation at a fast pace to optimize manhours per move or efforts to optimize running-hours per move by systemized solutions in our maritime terminals. To be successful, our terminals need to be supported by a focused, aligned and agile global team that adds value by Subject Matter Expertise, standardization and agile decision‑making.
