Job summary

JC Portable Site Accommodation Ltd. is seeking an experienced Spray Painter / Coatings Technician for our Chichester site. You will prepare, paint, and protective coat premium modular buildings using advanced 2K and polyurea systems.

The role requires at least 2 years in industrial coatings, NVQ 2/3 in coatings, and a full UK driving licence. Joining a committed team, you will work Mon-Fri with a 45-hour week and competitive salary (£35,100–£46,800) plus overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years in industrial spray painting or protective coatings
Experience applying two-pack (2K) coatings
Experience applying polyurea coatings
Full UK Driving Licence and health & safety awareness

Responsibilities

Surface preparation: cleaning, degreasing, sanding, grinding, masking of steel frameworks and components
Mixing and applying primers and topcoats, 2K coatings and polyurea
Operate and maintain spray equipment (airless, HVLP, conventional)
Quality inspections and touch-ups per specs
Stock and material management for coatings and consumables
Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to meet production schedules
Adhere to EHS procedures and wear PPE at all times
