Greencore is seeking an Employment Counsel to provide high quality employment law advice across the Group. You will work with the Deputy General Counsel, HR and business leaders to manage risk and ensure compliance with employment legislation.

Based in Leeds with hybrid working, you will draft contracts, policies and settlement documents, handle restructures, TUPE and disputes, and help shape people-related decision making across the business.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or barrister with UK/Ireland employment law experience.
• Membership of a law society or bar council.
• Strong advisory background in employment matters across multiple sites.

Responsabilités

• Provide timely, practical and legally robust advice on employment matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, investigations and restructures.
• Manage employment litigation, tribunal claims, ACAS processes, and settlements; instruct external counsel when needed.
• Draft and maintain employment documentation: contracts, policies, templates, and guidance.
• Partner with HR on organisational change, acquisitions, TUPE, and transformation projects.
• Support trade union relations and collective consultation obligations across jurisdictions.
• Monitor employment law developments and translate into business action.
