Qualifications

• Senior Immigration Solicitor at Legal Director or Partner level.
• Strong background in corporate immigration, not primarily private/high-street work.
• Extensive experience advising businesses on sponsor licences and compliance.
• Proven ability to manage complex, high‑value client relationships.
• Commercially minded with excellent technical expertise and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise global organisations and SMEs on corporate immigration and workforce planning.
• Assist clients with sponsor licence applications, right-to-work compliance and sponsor duties.
• Counsel on immigration issues from workforce mobility and talent retention.
• Conduct immigration audits and advise on compliance, penalties and risk management.

A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Immigration Lawyer at Legal Director or Partner level to join its established immigration practice on an interim basis.

This is a rare opportunity for a highly experienced corporate immigration specialist to take on a senior-level role advising an impressive client base of multinational organisations, SMEs and high-net-worth individuals.

The role:

You will provide strategic immigration advice to a broad range of corporate and private clients, handling complex UK immigration matters and supporting businesses with workforce planning, compliance and international mobility requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Advising global organisations and SMEs on all aspects of corporate immigration and workforce planning
• Supporting clients with sponsor licence applications, right-to-work compliance and ongoing sponsor duties
• Advising businesses on immigration issues arising from workforce mobility and talent retention
• Conducting immigration audits and advising employers on compliance, civil penalties and risk management
• Advising high-net-worth individuals on investor, entrepreneur and other immigration routes
• Assisting individuals and families with indefinite leave to remain and British citizenship applications
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships while delivering commercially focused advice

About you:

• Senior Immigration Solicitor at Legal Director, Partner or equivalent level
