Location : Rotation between all three sites : 24 Portland Place (W1B 1LU) 55 Moorgate (EC2R 6BH) and 33 Grosvenor Place (SW1X 7HY)

What are we looking for

Cleveland Clinic London are looking to recruit a Senior II Radiographer to join our Imaging Team within the General Xray modality with a competitive salary range on offer starting from 44000 depending on experience.

This is a full time permanent role with the following shift patterns across 3 London sites on rotational basis :

12.5 hour shifts over 7 days day or nights or week of 7.5 hour shifts dependent on which site

Shift schedule : 7 : 15am 8 : 15pm / 6 : 30pm -7 : 30am

What will your duties include

Monitors evaluates and reports status of the departmental operations. Acts as a liaison internally and externally.

Professionally and legally responsible for all aspects of own practice working within national legislation departmental and hospital wide policy Code of Conduct and professional guidelines ensuring delivery of imaging services emulates best practices

Maintains a work environment that fosters quality care delivery accountability and employee satisfaction.

Assist with ongoing development of clinical practice and standards of care within the service including assisting the modality leads in development of policies procedures protocols and guidelines and audits.

Provides direct patient care in specialty areas. Flexible approach to working hours prepared to participate fully in shifts extended working days and on‑call working rotation and schedules as may be required.

Undertake relevant training and competency assessments strictly adhering to agreed protocols and procedures. To supply medicines using Patient Group Directions without compromising patient safety. This involves ascertaining the patients suitability for drugs and taking joint responsibility for the potential complications under the indirect supervision of radiologists. To be aware of the clinical hazards and emergencies that such drugs can induce.

Adheres to appropriate Health & Safety guidelines and regulations.

Ensures Care Quality Commission regulations related to Imaging are adhered to.

Undertake basic patient observations recognise a deteriorating patient and manage immediately and appropriately.

Use good radiographic techniques and modify as clinically appropriate. Have the technical ability to manipulate a range of equipment whilst maintaining patient comfort and adequately communicate with patients and colleagues to ensure the safe movement of patients into imaging position. Use appropriate touch techniques to locate external bony landmarks.

Other duties as assigned

Rotation across our out‑patient facilities will be required

What we need from you

BSc(Hons) Radiography DCR(D) Diploma of the College of Radiographers or equivalent required

Current valid Healthcare Professional Council (HCPC) registration required

Understanding of radiographic equipment in the context of how images are produced for both ionising and non‑ionising radiation imaging methods and how images are appropriately shared and/or stored required

Relevant extensive experience within fluoroscopy theatre and general x‑ray required

Must be able to demonstrate competency in IT required
