Job description

Essential

• 5 GCSEs with a minimum grade C or above in English and Mathematics, or equivalent
• Hands‑on 1st/2nd line support in a Windows environment
• Experience in a helpdesk‑style environment
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritise
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of audience
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• A positive, solution‑focused attitude
• Understanding of the issues surrounding the safeguarding of children and a commitment to child welfare and safety

Desirable

• Experience of working in a school environment
• Awareness of backup routines, scheduled maintenance and the impact of ICT facilities on teaching and learning
