Job summary

Redline Group Ltd is recruiting for a Senior IC Design Engineer to join their Southampton team, focusing on capacitive sensing, RTL design, embedded software, and silicon bring-up. The role spans analogue, digital and firmware domains, demanding strong problem-solving and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

You will contribute to system-level design decisions and work with international engineering teams to deliver innovative HMI sensing solutions in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Degree required in electronics, electrical engineering, embedded systems or related discipline.
• Experience in digital or mixed-signal IC design and development.
• Strong RTL design experience using Verilog and SystemVerilog.
• Embedded software development experience in C/C++.
• Knowledge of microcontroller architectures and embedded systems.
• Experience using Python, MATLAB or similar tools for modelling and data analysis.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with ARM, PIC or similar MCU platforms desirable.
• Knowledge of capacitive touch sensing technologies desirable.
• Exposure to automotive standards (ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE) advantageous.
• Familiarity with OLED/micro-LED display tech beneficial.

Responsibilities
