A leading engineering consultancy in the UK is seeking a Senior Hydrologist – Flood Hydraulic Modeller to manage hydraulic modelling projects and contribute to significant flood risk management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, strong project management skills, and experience with hydraulic modelling tools. This role provides an opportunity to work on varied projects, mentor junior staff, and foster trusted client relationships.
You'll bring a strong track record in delivering and managing hydraulic modelling projects, combining technical expertise with leadership, communication skills, and the ability to foster trusted client relationships. You'll be comfortable managing multiple complex projects, supporting business development, and helping steer the future of our flood risk and water environment services.

Stantec is seeking a Senior Hydrologist – Flood Hydraulic Modeller to join our growing Hydrology and Flood Risk discipline within the Water Environment team. The role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of hydraulic modelling projects, including 1D‑2D flood risk modelling and Strategic Resource Options (SRO) assessments, and to contribute to nationally significant work across the UK.
