Job summary

BMSL Group Ltd in South Wales is recruiting an HV Jointer to deliver high voltage cable jointing and terminations on 33kV+ networks across UK projects. The role offers strong earning potential with regular overtime, door-to-door travel payments and a clear path for long-term progression.

You will work on substations, grid connections and renewable energy schemes, collaborating with project teams to ensure safe, compliant delivery while maintaining high workmanship standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as HV Jointer, Cable Jointer or Senior Jointer.
• Experience working on 33kV and above networks.
• Strong understanding of High Voltage electrical infrastructure.
• Experience working within utilities, power, electrical infrastructure or related sectors.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to travel and stay away when required.

Responsibilities

• HV cable jointing and terminations
• Working on electrical networks rated 33kV and above
• Supporting substation and grid connection projects
• Assisting testing and commissioning activities
• Carrying out fault-finding and remedial works
• Adhering to safety procedures and industry regulations
• Completing site documentation and records
• Maintaining excellent standards of workmanship and quality
