Overview

As a Senior HR Advisor, you will be a trusted partner to the business, providing expert HR guidance and support to ensure best practice and commercially focused solutions are delivered.

You will have the opportunity to work closely with managers and employees to address complex HR challenges, drive organisational change, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our HR service delivery.

This is a varied and dynamic role where no two days are the same. You will work on a wide range of HR activities, including employee relations, organisational design, and strategic projects. You will also play a key role in supporting the business through periods of change, ensuring that our people are at the heart of everything we do.

How you'll make an impact
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with managers and employees by providing expert HR advice, coaching, and mentoring to enhance people management capabilities.
  • Case Management: Manage employee relations cases, ensuring compliance with policies and employment law, and escalating complex cases as needed.
  • Restructuring and Office Relocations: Support restructuring, office closures, and relocations by managing consultation processes, documentation, and employee transitions.
  • Acquisitions: Collaborate with HR Business Partners on acquisitions, ensuring smooth integration, accurate data management, and compliance with HR processes.
  • Annual HR Processes: Provide support for performance management, pay reviews, and benefits processes, working closely with Reward and Business Partners.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with HR colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
  • HR Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with HR policies, employment law, and regulatory requirements, including managing background checks and data subject access requests.
About You
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent experience, educated to degree level is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and best practices, including Employee Relations, organisational change, and HR advisory roles.
  • Proficiency in Oracle or similar HR systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment while delivering excellent service.
  • Strong decision-making skills with a commercial and pragmatic approach.
  • Ability to build stakeholder relationships with excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and demands.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK as required.
