Job summary

Hunter Selection is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Manager for a manufacturing site in North Walsham, Norfolk. The role offers a salary of £50,000 and benefits including private pension and life assurance.

You will lead HSE compliance, promote positive safety culture, conduct daily site walks, and drive investigations of incidents, near misses and accidents, ensuring audit readiness for ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate required or equivalent
• Experience in manufacturing environment
• IOSH membership desirable

Responsibilities

• Promote HSE positively through staff engagement on site
• Ensure site HSE compliance and training
• Conduct daily H&S shopfloor walks across manufacturing
• Lead investigations of incidents, near misses and accidents
• Ensure HSE audits readiness to ISO standards 9001/14001/45001
• Review and update H&S policies, SSoW, risk assessments
