Job summary

A leading engineering recruitment firm is seeking an HSE Manager for a 2-year contract in Swansea. This role will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during the construction phase. Responsibilities include developing and managing the HSE Management Plan, conducting risk assessments, and leading safety meetings. Ideal candidates should have NEBOSH / IOSH certificates and experience in HSE management on construction projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in health, safety, and environmental management on construction projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of Construction Design and Management Regulations.
• Ability to assess risks and review project information for decision-making.
• Experience in developing and implementing HSE Management Systems and plans.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSE legislation and CDM 2015 regulations.
• Develop and manage project-specific HSE Management Plan.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and site inspections.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct toolbox talks and hold regular safety meetings.
• Produce and update safety and environmental management plans.
