Job summary

Pantheon Recruitment Ltd is assisting a drylining contractor to appoint a Senior HSE Manager who will lead health, safety and environmental strategy across the group, reporting directly to board level. The role is hands-on and requires practical on-site leadership, with a focus on developing the HSE function alongside growing operations. You’ll guide standards across trades and regions while sustaining a robust safety culture across projects.

Qualifications

• Senior HSE experience in drylining/interiors or specialist subcontracting.
• Experience managing other HSE professionals, not just projects.
• Commercial awareness with ability to challenge senior leadership while maintaining relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of HSE Managers across trades and regions.
• Set the HSE strategy and ensure group-wide standards.
• Lead investigations and ensure lessons are implemented across the business.
• Report to the board with visibility on performance, risk and improvements.
• Support project teams on high-risk schemes and drive a proactive safety culture.
