UNIQLO in London is recruiting a Senior HR Payroll Specialist to join our European HR Payroll team. Based in our London Office, you will support end-to-end payroll across EU markets and work with local HR and Finance to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will manage expat payroll, liaise with mobility partners and tax advisors, and provide governance across payroll processes. The role requires strong numerical skills, fluency in English, and a proactive, confidential approach to sensitive

Qualifications

• Payroll experience in high-volume environments (1000+ employees)
• Strong knowledge of payroll, taxation principles, and expat rules
• Experience with expats, global mobility and tax advisors
• Fluent in English communication
• Excellent stakeholder management and customer service mindset
• High level of discretion, confidentiality, and accuracy
• Proactive and self-driven with a
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with ability to meet deadlines
• Strong numerical skills and Excel proficiency
• Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (Workday, Work Force System)

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll processes for EU markets
• Coordinate with EU Payroll Partners and HR Managers
• Execute controls of payroll data throughout the payroll cycle
• Manage payroll for expats with mobility partners and tax advisors
• Validate and approve payroll data as part of the payroll chain
• Manage salary payments, taxes, social security and other payroll payments for EU markets
• Prepare month-end and quarterly payroll reports for Finance
• Identify, investigate and resolve payroll issues
• Lead payroll, mobility and immigration governance, audits and improvements
• Provide strategic input into EU level policies, systems and tools
• Oversee immigration process for expats in EU markets
