The Senior HR Officer will lead and deliver a comprehensive, proactive and confidential human resources service to Worcester Sixth Form College and will act as a key link between the College and the Trust HR function, supporting a consistent and collaborative approach to people management across the Trust. The postholder will provide expert advice and guidance to managers and staff, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, safeguarding requirements, relevant policies and best practice.
The Senior HR Officer will take a lead role in supporting managers with employee relations matters, workforce planning, attendance management, recruitment, safeguarding compliance and organisational development. They will manage HR processes from initial concern through to resolution and will support senior leaders with formal absence, capability and conduct meetings and providing professional HR advice to facilitate effective decision-making.
Hours of work: 37 hours per week: 8.30 am - 4.30 pm (one day 30 minutes less at the beginning or end of the day), 5 days a week with half an hour lunch break (unpaid), full year (52 weeks).
