Job summary

Broadgate, a growing People Consultancy, is seeking a Senior HR Consultant in Aberdeen to join a supportive team on a hybrid arrangement. You'll advise clients across the UK, tackling employee relations, employment law, policies, and people challenges with practical, commercial solutions.

With 4+ years in HR and CIPD Level 7 (or aiming for it), you’ll build strong client relationships, design effective HR toolkits, and mentor colleagues while travelling to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' HR experience with strong employee relations and employment law knowledge.
• Experience in either an internal HR or consultancy environment.
• Level 7 Advanced CIPD or a willingness to work towards it.
• Strong commercial awareness and a consultative approach.
• Excellent communication, listening and relationship-building skills.
• The confidence to advise managers, leadership teams and clients.
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• HR systems implementation experience would be advantageous.
• Full driving licence and access to a car – essential due to client-site travel.

Are you an experienced HR professional looking to move from an internal HR role into consultancy? Or perhaps you're already working in HR consultancy and want to join a growing, supportive team where you can make a real impact? We’re looking for a Senior HR Consultant to join a growing People Consultancy team in Aberdeen, supporting a diverse portfolio of businesses across the UK.

This is a role where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with clients at different stages of their growth journey, providing practical HR advice, solving complex people challenges and helping businesses build better workplaces.

What you'll be doing

You'll become a trusted HR partner to your clients, providing commercially focused advice across:
