Job summary

JCB is hiring an experienced HR Business Partner on a 12‑month fixed term maternity cover basis. You will partner with executive teams to shape people strategies, advise on organisational design, and drive workforce planning and talent management in a fast-paced corporate environment.

You will influence decisions using data and commercial insight, lead employee engagement, and support transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven success partnering senior leaders in a complex organisation.
• Strong employment law and employee relations knowledge.
• Experience leading organisational change and transformation activity.
• Experience operating in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Executive and Senior Leadership Teams to shape and deliver people strategies.
• Provide expert guidance on organisational design, workforce planning and talent management.
• Use people data, insight and commercial understanding to influence decision-making.
• Drive employee engagement and help leaders turn feedback into meaningful action.
• Support business transformation and change initiatives, ensuring people impacts are effectively managed.
• Coach, challenge and develop leaders to build capability and improve performance.
• Work closely with HR specialists and Shared Services teams to deliver joined-up people solutions.
• Support the management of complex people matters and organisational challenges.
