Job summary

Energy Aspects is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner in London to lead global People initiatives and partner with Research leadership on employee relations, talent strategy and organizational change.

You will coach managers, drive workforce planning and use HR metrics to demonstrate ROI, while ensuring compliance and building an inclusive culture across our offices.

Qualifications

  • Substantial experience operating as a Global HRBP, preferably in a rapidly growing SME.
  • Proven ability to improve processes, build relationships and drive continuous improvement.
  • Expertise in HR policies and scalable solutions aligned to business needs.
  • Strong coaching, conflict management and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and collaborate with the People team to spearhead HR programs and strategies.
  • Partner with Research leadership to gauge pulse, manage complex employee relations and talent needs.
  • Coach line managers to build capability and confidence in people leadership.
  • Provide guidance on workplace crises and organizational change to minimize disruption.
  • Ensure workforce planning with Finance and Talent Acquisition for forecasting.
  • Use HR metrics to drive data-driven decisions and ROI of HR initiatives.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate associated risks.
  • Own talent management, performance evaluation, engagement and compensation initiatives.
  • Drive diversity, equity and inclusion and promote an inclusive culture.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to manage rewards, appraisals, wellness, retirement and benefits.
  • Support recruitment efforts with Talent Acquisition and enable continuous learning.
  • Deliver comprehensive HR support across the employee lifecycle and broader HR projects.

At Energy Aspects, our talented people and teams are the foundation of our success. We are seeking an accomplished Senior HR Business Partner to join our team in this pivotel role supporting our vital Global Research division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the wider People team and relevant stakeholders to help spearhead people programs and strategies that enhance our culture - including performance, management, compensation, talent development & feedback, employee engagement & retention, and internal communications.
  • Collaborate with leaders and managers in the Research division to gauge employee and management pulse; manage complex employee relations and theirs and the organization's talent needs.
  • Coach and develop line managers, building their skills and confidence to successfully lead their people.
  • Provide guidance and support in case of workplace crises or conflicts, ensuring they're resolved in a way that safeguards both the organization and its employees.
  • Facilitate and guide the Research department through organizational changes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing disruptions.
  • Work closely with Finance and Talent Acquisition to ensure the business has an accurate workforce plan that is up to date, allowing for accurate future forecasting and modeling of costs.
  • Analyze workforce trends and collaborate with hiring managers to anticipate future employment needs.
  • Use HR metrics to make data-driven decisions and demonstrate the ROI of HR initiatives.
  • Ensure the company is compliant with employment regulations and minimize risks associated with non-compliance.
  • Champion key HR domains such as talent management, performance evaluation, employee engagement, compensation strategy, and other HR-driven initiatives.
  • Develop and roll out various programs to meet employee needs and drive high levels of employee engagement that in turn creates an environment that encourages open, inclusive, and productive collaboration.
  • Advocate for and implement initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the company.
  • Act as the go-to HR touchpoint for all employees, elucidating HR strategies, practices, and methodologies.
  • Partner with key Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to promote and manage the communication and execution of all employee reward, recognition, appraisals, wellness, retirement, and other discretionary benefits.
  • In conjunction with the Talent Acquisition team, drive overall recruitment efforts ensuring we consistently attract, nurture, and elevate our talent pool.
  • Collaborate with the Learning & Development team, ensuring continuous learning and professional growth for our staff.
  • Deliver comprehensive HR support throughout the employee lifecycle, while also contributing to broader HR projects
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Substantial experience operating as a Global HRBP preferably in a rapidly growing SME.
  • Proven desire and ability to improve processes, build relationships, and help the business constantly improve.
  • Expertise in people/HR policies & procedures - and a track record of prioritizing, defining, developing, and rolling out scalable HR solutions that address the needs of the business.
  • Fully developed coaching, conflict management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities.
  • Reputation for integrity, dedicated work ethic, and desire for ownership & accountability.
  • Prior experience working in a fast paced and high growth environment; research, consultancy or financial services experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience with data and analytics and working with technical teams.
  • Deep understanding of Global employment laws, customs, and practices.
