Position Overview

Senior HR Business Partner – Royal Trinity Hospice, 30 Clapham Common Northside, SW4 0RN, London.

Salary: £59,748 – £65,457 per annum (pro rata for part‑time). Contractual hours: 37.5 hrs (full‑time) or 30 hrs (part‑time) per week. Contract: Permanent. Reports to: Director of People.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Partner with the organisation to deliver a proactive HR Business Partnering approach and solutions.
  • Lead and deliver effective HR operations, ensuring systems and processes are efficient and aligned with organisational goals.
  • Oversee all aspects of HR operations including employee relations, recruitment, workforce management and change programmes.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on workforce initiatives and contribute to organisational development projects.
  • Utilise analytics to inform HR decisions, measure the effectiveness of HR programmes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead on the development, implementation and periodic review of policies to support organisational effectiveness, compliance and strategic priorities.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Chartered MCIPD or working towards it, with evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Significant experience in HR Business Partner and operational HR roles, managing diverse teams.
  • Proven success in leading organisational change and delivering on employee relations strategy.
  • Strategic thinker with expertise in employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience analysing workforce data to inform decisions and improve outcomes.
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to build relationships across teams and levels; drives inclusion and champions cultural change.
