Overview

Once For All is a high-growth, cloud-based, SaaS subscription business. Our technology helps our customers to manage their supply chain governance, risk management and compliance. We work across public and private sector and have over 250k customers across the UK across 20 different sectors including construction, transport, retail, hospitality education, facility and property management, manufacturing, local and central government.

Role Summary

As the Senior HR Advisor you will advise and support colleagues and managers through the full employee lifecycle ensuring excellent proactive HR Support.

You will be responsible for proactive HR solutions, advise and support the senior leaders to achieve the businesses objectives and foster a high performing team.

This is an integral role within a small HR team would suit someone who is enthusiastic to make a difference with ideas around Performance Management, Learning & Development, Onboarding, Employee engagement and all other projects. Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance HR processes and overall business performance, and be part of creating innovative solutions as an employer of choice for all employees.
  • Support line managers in the areas of managing performance, absence, discipline and grievance procedures as well as advise Managers and Employees on employment policies, practices and employment legislation.
  • Support, advice and counsel line managers in areas such as objective setting, performance, career development, offboarding, employee engagement and reward.
  • Monitor, review and update local HR policies, benefits and ensuring these are current and in line with legislation.
  • Work with Occupational Health to ensure that health checks and reviews take place as required. Make employee referrals, and request specialist reports as required on specific health issues and develop plans as required.
  • Payroll working with the external provider to payroll data is uploaded onto their secure site. You must have experience understanding payroll actions, reviewing and making changes where needed and support.
  • Supporting the collation and analysis of People trends across the business.
  • Assist in the development and creation of HR initiatives and projects and help drive their implementation across the firm.
  • Support, coach and upskill line managers on all HR matters relating to their teams.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience And Qualifications
  • As a Senior HR Advisor, you will be used to working collaboratively in a all hands-on deck team, happy to work with autonomy and support the business through growth.
  • Experienced working as an HR generalist who can demonstrate partnering with senior leaders to support team and business growth and performance.
  • Experience leading the end-to-end employee lifecycle with a continuous improvement mindset, policy and process review.
  • Excellent UK employment law and employee relations experience.
  • Worked on employee engagement initiatives surveys, wellbeing and DEI.
  • Although sector experience is not essential, you must have worked in a SME across the commercial industry sectors.
  • CIPD or equivalent qualification.
