Job description

Location:

Leeds – Hybrid, 3 days in the office, 2 days at home

Salary:

£32,000 - £35,000 per annum

Contract:

6 months fixed term

At Another, we are currently looking to hire a Senior HR Advisor to join a well-known and established business in West Yorkshire on a 6-month fixed term contract. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will provide a wide range of HR generalist support across the business.

This opportunity is for an experienced and pragmatic senior HR professional who has experience across all aspects of HR. You should be solutions-focused and adaptable to changing business priorities. A strong focus on HR systems, process improvement, and compliance is essential.

The Role
  1. Provide high-quality HR advisory services and build credible stakeholder relationships.
  2. Review and implement HR policies and processes aligned with HR and business strategies.
  3. Support the implementation and optimization of HR systems and processes.
  4. Collaborate with the HR Director to establish quality controls and ensure compliance on HRIS workflows, improving processes as needed.
  5. Assist the wider HR team in upskilling managers and stakeholders on HR policies and processes.
  6. Enhance the provision of meaningful HR data for the business.
  7. Support HR initiatives and projects under the guidance of the HR Director.
  8. Coach and advise managers and employees on employee relations issues, escalating to the HR Manager when necessary.
  9. Provide HR administrative support, including managing and reviewing processes and procedures.
  10. Collect, monitor, and advise on HR metrics, including sickness absence records, and manage related processes.
Skills Required
  1. Ideally CIPD level 5 qualified or working towards it.
  2. Proven experience as an HR Advisor, preferably in a small to medium-sized business.
  3. Experience supporting or leading HRIS implementations.
  4. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and managing complex ER cases.
  5. Experience supporting change projects is desirable.
  6. Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  7. Proficiency with IT systems, including Microsoft Office and HR systems.
  8. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  9. Pragmatic, solutions-focused approach to delivering change and efficiencies.
