Job summary

A premier hotel group in Leeds is seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee Employee Relations. This role requires a qualified candidate with a strong background in HR practices and employment law. You will manage case workloads, provide expert advice, and contribute to HR metrics analysis. A valid UK driving license is required. The position supports diversity and inclusion, offering a commitment to professional development.

Job description
Job Overview

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of Employee Relations case workload and managing the HR Administrator. Responsible for providing expert advice in line with business strategy and support on a range of HR matters, ensuring accurate advice and support is provided in line with all company procedures and legal requirements.

Qualifications
  • Qualified to CIPD Level 5, or above, or equivalent experience
  • Have a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
  • Have a sound understanding of the principles of good HR practice
  • Strong employment law knowledge
  • Analyse and report on HR Metrics, KPIs and GDPR for Senior Leadership Team
  • Willing to embrace new ways of working and bring creative ideas and innovation to the team to support the continued improvement of the HR function
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to persuade and influence at all levels and challenge, when appropriate with tact and diplomacy
  • High level of personal integrity and professionalism with respect and empathy for others and the ability to act as an ambassador for the company at all times
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • Experience working in a multi-site business desirable
