Overview

We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Senior HR Advisor to support the fee earning population at a leading international law firm.

This role offers a broad remit across onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and compensation, with the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and contribute to strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Onboarding & Integration: Lead the onboarding process for new lawyers, including documentation, systems setup, and relocation coordination. Liaise with immigration advisors and internal teams to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Performance & Development: Support review cycles, probationary check-ins, and development planning. Coach supervisors on feedback delivery and track performance outcomes.
  • Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor for lawyer queries, manage ER cases, and support investigations and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Compensation & Rewards: Assist in managing annual compensation and bonus processes, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain accurate HRIS records, support policy updates, and contribute to process improvements and change initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders across Legal, HR, Finance, and Professional Development to deliver joined-up support.
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a legal or professional services environment
  • Strong understanding of performance management and employee relations
  • Experience managing immigration processes and cross-border moves
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
