A public sector organization in Kidderminster is seeking a Senior Housing Project Officer to lead and support strategy projects related to housing services. The role involves overseeing partnerships with developers and landlords, ensuring compliance in temporary accommodation, and managing a small team. The ideal candidate will have a degree-level education and 2+ years of relevant experience, alongside strong interpersonal and strategic thinking skills. The position offers an annual salary of £38,760 – £41,343, with the potential for flexible working hours.

We are looking for someone to join the Strategy and Enabling team to lead and support on a number of projects that develop services, strategies, policies and procedures across the remit of the Strategic Growth team with a focus on housing, related services.
You will have the opportunity to work alongside partner organisations, undertake research work and to develop good working relationships with landlords all of which will help to develop our services; you will need to be able to confidently lead and drive forward projects and initiatives surrounding housing, homelessness, and domestic abuse.
The successful candidate should have a good standard of education (preferably to degree level) and a minimum of 2 years related work experience working with customers, landlords or similar. Membership of CIH and previous experience in managing or leading staff is also desirable.
You will be self‑motivated, a strategic thinker and have excellent interpersonal skills, allowing you to communicate effectively with team members and the general public.
Full‑time position with an annual salary of £38,760 – £41,343.00 per annum. Appointment is usually at the bottom of the salary band with annual increments until the top of the scale is reached.
Applicants must provide a suitable vehicle for duties, be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and outside normal office hours, and be able to meet the physical demands of accessing and inspecting properties.
