Job summary

NHS Highland's North Highland Care at Home Service in West Caithness, Thurso, is recruiting two Senior Health and Social Care Support Workers for 17.5 hours per week. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care in clients' homes, assist with personal care, medication support, nutrition, mobility, and maintain accurate records while working with nurses and other professionals.

The role offers NHS pay bands, access to training, pension, generous leave, and career progression within NHS

Qualifications

• Willingness to work towards SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
• Understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (travel expenses available).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and personal-centred support in clients' homes.
• Assist with personal care, medication support, nutrition and mobility.
• Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
• Work with nurses, social workers and allied health professionals.
• Ensure safeguarding and NHS Highland policies are followed.
