Job summary

Circle Health Group is hiring a Senior Biomedical Scientist for the Histology team in London. The role involves leading training, competency assessment and development within a UKAS ISO 15189 accredited laboratory, with an expectation of extended hours and weekend rota participation.

The post requires HCPC registration and a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science, with at least 5 years in Histology and strong quality management experience. 37.5 hours per week, with a flexible shift pattern.

Qualifications

• BSc (Hons) Biomedical Science or equivalent HCPC-acceptable qualification.
• HCPC registration as Biomedical Scientist currently held.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, analyse and report patient specimens using appropriate techniques.
• Lead training, competency assessment and CPD activities.
• Support IS0 15189/UKAS quality requirements within the lab.
