Are you a Highways/Infrastructure CAD Technician looking to work on exciting projects at a company that puts their employees first? Look no further!

Our client is an independent transport planning and highway design consultancy based in central London and specialising in development planning work across the UK. They offer services throughout all stages of the development planning process, from initial feasibility studies to successfully securing planning permission, the discharge of planning conditions and detailed highway design. The sectors they operate in are varied and include commercial, residential, retail, leisure, hotel and education.

Your main duties will include preparing drawings in AutoCAD, utilising Vehicle Tracking to determine vehicle swept path analysis and responsibility for document management and issuing of drawings. You will also support Engineering Leads in maintaining CAD standards, best practice and processes for modelling and drawing production.

Required Skills
  • Ability to develop designs in AutoCAD and Vehicle Tracking / AutoTRACK / Swept path analysis.
  • Experience of working across Microsoft Office and AutoDesk platforms.
  • Experience in infrastructure design projects.
Desirable Skills
  • Civil 3D experience.

As the ideal candidate for this role, you will have knowledge of highways, drainage, and levels design. You will also possess a strong understanding of engineering drawings, along with a familiarity with British Standards/Codes of Practice.
