Job Overview

Are you a Highways/Infrastructure CAD Technician looking to work on exciting projects at a company that puts their employees first? Look no further!

Our client is an independent transport planning and highway design consultancy based in central London and specialising in development planning work across the UK. They offer services throughout all stages of the development planning process, from initial feasibility studies to successfully securing planning permission, the discharge of planning conditions and detailed highway design. The sectors they operate in are varied and include commercial, residential, retail, leisure, hotel and education.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare drawings in AutoCAD.
  • Utilise Vehicle Tracking to determine vehicle swept path analysis.
  • Manage document management and issue drawings.
  • Support Engineering Leads in maintaining CAD standards, best practice and processes for modelling and drawing production.
Qualifications
  • Ability to develop designs in AutoCAD and Vehicle Tracking/ AutoTRACK / Swept path analysis.
  • Experience working across Microsoft Office and AutoDesk platforms.
  • Experience in infrastructure design projects.
  • Desirable: Civil 3D experience.
  • Knowledge of highways, drainage and levels design.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and British Standards/Codes of Practice.
