A leading smart infrastructure solutions company in the UK is seeking a Senior Highways Engineer (Traffic Management) to oversee traffic management design and planning. The role requires significant experience in highways and traffic management, alongside essential qualifications such as an IHE TTM Engineering Professional Certificate. The successful candidate will support various managerial staff and ensure quality compliance in traffic management designs, while also visiting sites to evaluate layout changes. Flexibility and willingness to travel are key aspects of this position.
As our Senior Highways Engineer (Traffic Management) within our Highways & Transportation Engineering Team, you will be responsible for designing and planning for all matters relating to traffic management at any temporary change in risk on the highways.
You will oversee the engineering of the traffic management using a risk-based approach. Additional support to the Highways & Transportation Engineering design team will be essential and likewise reciprocated back in this role.
Please note that this role requires site visits to verify existing and proposed layouts, so flexibility and willingness to travel is essential.
