Job summary

Westmorland and Furness Council in Kendal is seeking a Senior Highway Network Technician to join the highways team. You will prepare, design and process highway improvement and maintenance projects, and carry out inventory collection across the South Lakeland area.

The role involves surveys, design, specification and data collection, with a requirement for strong communication and use of council business systems. Hybrid working is available."

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide advice and guidance to colleagues.
• Administration and use of Westmorland and Furness Council business systems.
• Must hold a UK driving licence and be able to drive within the area for site visits and general highway work.
