A regional healthcare provider is seeking a Camden High Risk Podiatrist to cover maternity leave for 11 months. Qualifications

• Required extensive clinical skills and experience at a Band 7 level.
• Postgraduate experience in the NHS working with high risk diabetic feet Podiatry.
• Experience of education of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist footcare for patients with complex high-risk foot problems.
• Clinically accountable for treatment of the high-risk caseload.
• Support education and up-skilling of clinical and care staff.

Skills

Extensive knowledge of diabetes and vascular complications in podiatric care

Sound knowledge and experience in wound care

Effective organisational skills

Excellent communication skills

Education

HCPC Registration

Diploma/BSc (Hons) in Podiatry

Hold a Certificate in local anaesthesia
