Job summary

Tower Hamlets Talking Therapies is recruiting enthusiastic High Intensity CBT Therapists to join our dynamic NHS service. You will deliver Step 3 interventions for clients with depression and anxiety and run therapy groups to improve outcomes.

You will work with diverse communities, using interpreters where needed, and maintain high professional standards with supervision and CPD opportunities. This role supports healthy work-life balance.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration as Counselling or Clinical Psychologist is required or eligible for BABCP accreditation.
• BABCP accreditation or eligibility must be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Training in provision of supervision for CBT.
• Ability to meet agreed/specified service targets.
• Ability to manage own caseload and time.
• Able to write clear reports and letters to referrers.
• Demonstrates an understanding of anxiety disorders and depression in primary care.
• Knowledge of working with people from diverse backgrounds and use of interpreters.
• Knowledge of medications used in anxiety and depression.
• Commitment to evidence-based psychological therapies in this post.
