Matthew Clark is seeking an experienced Senior HGV Driver to join our Logistics team. This role blends driving with hands-on support to the transport operation, with roughly 50% depot-based work and 50% on the road, including multi-drop deliveries and drop risk assessments.

You’ll help ensure drivers, mates and vehicles are ready to depart safely and on time, act as a key liaison between delivery crews, Customer Care and Sales, and support the wider transport operation in a busy environment.

Competenze

• Class 1 HGV licence required.
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced transport environment.
• Strong commitment to safety standards.
• Good communication with drivers, mates and customer care.

Mansioni

• Ensure crews and vehicles are ready to leave the depot on time and in full, with the appropriate PPE and training.
• Support daily transport planning, including managing absence and agency cover.
• Carry out multi-drop deliveries and support as driver or mate when needed.
• Perform drop risk assessments and vehicle/equipment checks.
• Support loading/unloading and safe delivery of stock with high Health & Safety standards.
• Act as a key communication point between drivers, mates, Sales and Customer Care.
