Job summary

Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is recruiting a hepatology consultant to support the hepatology service at Wythenshawe Hospital. The role involves working within GI Medicine with opportunities for flexible job planning and involvement in new care pathways to improve patient care.

The post requires Full GMC registration with a licence to practise and entry on the GMC specialist register for gastroenterology (or imminent CCT).

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with licence to practise and entry on the GMC specialist register for gastroenterology (or proposed CCT date within 6 months of interview).
• Experience in hepatology or liver centres is desirable.
• Proven ability to lead a medical team and manage clinical priorities.

Responsibilities

• Weekly sessions based on a working week of 10 PAs.
• Be flexible in job planning to accommodate service needs.
• Endoscopy and hepatology clinical duties within the hepatology service.
