Do you love working in a team? This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a first class multidisciplinary team providing interventional diagnostics and therapy at the North West Cardiac Catheter Sector Laboratory.
The Cardiac Catheter Lab is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 7:00pm. CCL is closed on weekends and bank holidays. Shift patterns include early shifts from 07:30am to 15:30pm and late shift from 10:30am to 18:30pm.
PLEASE NOTE - You are required to have NVQ Level 2 Certificate in Health and Social Care or the Care Certificate to be eligible to apply for this role. You will be required to provide evidence of these qualifications.

The Cardiac Catheter Lab (CCL) is a state of the art cardiac facility with two theatres and a 6 bedded recovery area. The lab cares for patients undergoing cardiac interventions in this day case setting. Following the procedure and recovery period the patients are discharged via the Cardiac Catheter Lab's own bespoke discharge suite.
As a new Senior Health Care Assistant joining our friendly team you will be provided with the highest standards of training to provide care to both acute and elective patients, making this a unique and varied role.
Once trained, you will be involved in assisting the nursing staff with the provision of an extensive range of interventional cardiac procedures including diagnostic angiograms, coronary intervention, device implantation, cardioversion and cardiology diagnostics.
